Cost Plus World Market Explorer Rewards Program

I haven't been to Cost Plus World Market in over a year, and I didn't know they had a Rewards program until yesterday. I was checking out and the cashier asked me if I wanted to sign up for their Explorer Rewards program and I asked what that was and she explained that you can get coupons and special offers, etc. So, I gave her my e-mail address and by the time I got home, there was a confirmation e-mail from Cost Plus requesting that I finish registering online in order to receive a 10% off coupon for my next visit. What an unexpected bonus! I don't usually go to Cost Plus, but every now and then it's fun browse around. They have added a lot of inventory to their store, including some really cute, small classic toys for kids, like Gumby, Jacob's Ladders, tops, kaleidoscopes, etc. Right now, Cost Plus is having a 50% off sale on all rugs. That's a pretty good discount, considering their rugs can be on the pricey side.

As I was browsing, I noticed some super cute cafe cups that are made of ceramic and look like the "to go" cups at a coffee shop! At this Cost Plus, the cups were sold individually for $7.99 (vs. online in a two pack for $15.98), which didn't seem too unreasonable, especially since I've seen them priced elsewhere for around $15.00+. I first spotted the I am not a paper cup in museum gift shops for $25, but that seemed pretty expensive for a breakable coffee cup--no matter how cute it was! Luckily, Amazon.com sells it for $15.01, which beats out Target's price of $18.99. This is also in contrast to another brand, the The Eco Coffee Cup that looks even more like a cafe "to go" cup, selling for $10.99 at Amazon.com. I love this idea of having a look alike "to go" cafe cup, especially if everyone would use one and cut down on the number of coffee cups that are used and thrown away each day. What I especially liked about these cups was that they included a nice rubber area that mimics the sleeves at coffee shops. Not only does this serve as a nice grip, but it helps make the cup "holdable" when there's hot coffee inside. These cups also come in some pretty patterns, like plaid and red and white flourish. Bravo, Cost Plus, for offering these neat cafe cups at a reasonable price!

Register here for Cost Plus World Market Explorer Rewards program. I can't wait to go back and use my coupon--I just might have to nab one of these cute cups!
