Kohl's gives you money to shop!

Kohl's is the only place around here that actually pays you to shop! Now what do I mean by that? Well, if you sign up at the cash register for their e-mail sales alerts, they immediately e-mail you a coupon for $5.00 of your next purchase of $5.00 or more (these are the best coupons because you don't have to spend $25 to get the $5.00 off). There is only one small catch: you have to use the coupon within 12 days that it is issued. So, they want you to come in and shop immediately!

Yesterday, I went to Kohl's on a mission to find something around $5.00 to use up my coupon. Now, with all the after Christmas sales and the unending 70-80% off sales that Kohl's seems to be having, I had no trouble spotting a few items on the clearance rack around $5.00 for Josh. I was looking for some pajamas, since he is growing out of all his current ones at home. I ended up spotting--by sheer luck, mind you--one last set of pajamas in his size! This set was off on some random rack where it didn't belong, but I happened to see it and the size was perfect! (Now, that's another thing about Kohl's: not everything is always in its place, so you have to scour the different sections and racks. You definitely have to be in the mood to sift through clothes, but the fruits of your labor could pay eventually off with a great find). Anyway, I ended up getting those pajamas and payed a whopping $3.73 in quarters (yes, I said quarters!) after the cashier took my $5.00 coupon! Granted, I normally would not have purchased those pajamas (originally $28.00) for $8.40, but since I had the coupon, it was well worth it and now Josh has some pajamas that actually fit him! Sometimes, you just can't beat Kohl's sales, especially when you have a coupon in hand!
