Cactus Hunters want to wish you a Happy New Year!
As the songwriter for the Cactus Hunters, I want to personally thank you for supporting our music in the past year. In these difficult times we certainly bow down to all those who support our original independent music.
It is in this spirit that we are offering discounted prices on all purchases.
1. CACTUS HUNTERS (2003) Where it all began. The first Cactus Hunters album recorded in the hinterlands outside of Woodstock , NY in the dead of winter. Co-produced by Aaron Hurwitz (The Band, Mercury Rev, Joe Walsh, Dave Brubeck) this album won critical praise, as well as charted on the AMA, FAR, and Roots Rock charts.
2. SOMETHING GONE (Re-mastered 2009) Recorded in New York and San Francisco with the core Cactus Hunters and some special guests, including the great Chuck Prophet, Teal Collins (Third Eye Blind, The Mother Truckers,) Max Butler (Kelly Willis, Red Meat,) and Mike Emerson (Elvin Bishop.)
As you are dealing directly with the people who created this music, we are only able to accept check or money order for the purchase of these CDs. Please accept our humble apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. The cost is $15 plus shipping per CD.

In other news:
Much of last year was spent playing, writing, and negotiating with a record label that finally fell through in the eleventh hour. I am still seeking a reputable and supportive label to help us release the next Cactus Hunters album. As difficult as it has been in the last year to simply get gas in the car and keep strings on the guitar—I have simply not been able to afford the studio costs to release our next album. I have over 40 songs written with many rough recordings made just waiting for the opportunity to get into the studio and have them magnetized. Fingers crossed!!
I want to thank you again personally for your support in the past of the Cactus Hunters music and if there is an album you don’t have, I am happy to send it to you.
I wish you and yours the best in the New Year.
Best,
Cactus Hunters
