Blick Art Materials Store: Surprise Freebie!

Went to Blick Art Materials Store in Berkeley yesterday with my friend, Amy, and as she was checking out, the cashier asked us if our boys like to draw (she was buying a drawing pad for her son, who is already quite an artist like his mother) and then out of nowhere, he just gave us each a 5.5" x 8.5" Sketch pad with 50 sheets--FREE! It was such a pleasant surprise! We surely didn't know they had any promotions going on right now. Plus, I didn't even buy anything, but he still gave us both a nice, little, complimentary sketch pad.

See, that's good business! Free samples are the best way to let customers try out a product and see if they like it. Plus, free samples can lift customer morale and increase customer loyalty--at least it can for me! Free surprise samples are even better because they catch me off guard and leave me with a good impression of that business!

Oh, what a lucky day for both of us! We were all smiles! And now, it's time to sketch!
