I made stuffed bell peppers this weekend and had a little leftover filling, so I decided to turn the filling into mini turkey meatballs. I figured I could put the mini turkey meatballs into the mini muffin tray that comes with Trader Joe's Morning Buns. What an easy way to freeze them for dinner next week, so they don't get stuck together!
I've always wondered what to do with the Trader Joe's Morning Buns tray, besides using it to make mini muffins (which I've also done). There are so many uses for this cute, little tray!
I just wrapped up these mini turkey meatballs in two layers of plastic wrap and one Ziploc bag. Now, they are ready to store in the freezer and they won't get stuck together. I can just take them out and cook them next week for a nice spaghetti and meatballs dinner!
I love these timesavers! Once again, Trader Joe's has come to the rescue without even realizing it! I hope you enjoy this new way to re-use the mini muffin tray from Trader Joe's ever-so-yummy morning buns!
