Nature Factor Organic Young Coconut Water

I just started drinking Nature Factor Organic Young Coconut Water as a Sports Drink replacement for Gatorade (which, let's face it, isn't all that natural and who knows if it's even "good" for you?).  I think this is the most reasonable coconut water on the market if you are going to drink it regularly in place of Gatorade after hard workouts. I have been running about 3 miles every other day, give or take, and I love having a nice cold glass of coconut water over ice afterwards as a sort of reward after my run. Nature Factor Organic Young Coconut Water is very refreshing and tastes pretty good for coming out of a can. If you can't get your hands on Zico Coconut Water or a fresh young coconut, then this is the next best thing. Although, now Zico offers coconut water in a bottle, which is still good, but it comes from coconut water concentrate instead of just straight fresh coconut water like it used to. If you look at the ingredient list on a can of Nature Factor Organic Young Coconut Water, all you see is "Organic Young Coconut Water," pure and simple!

One can of Nature Factor Organic Coconut Water only has 80 calories and 0 grams of fat, 690 mg of Potassium (WOW!), 50 mg Sodium, 16 grams carbs (9 of which are naturally occurring sugars) and 0 grams protein.

I've been ordering Nature Factor Organic Coconut Water from Amazon.com because if you click "subscribe and save," you can get an additional 15% off your order, even if you only order it once. There is no obligation to stay in the program, which promises to deliver your chosen items at a regular interval that you specify (every 1-6 months). I just click "6 months," because I know I can change it at any time. Plus, there's no penalty for canceling the program! You can order it ONCE and cancel it, but still get the 15% off your order! Fair deal, I think! Heck, I know I'll really want it every month! It's THAT GOOD! Normally, you get 12 10 oz cans for $20, but with the Subscribe and Save program's 15% off, it brings it down to $17.00, which is less than $1.42/can. This item is also eligible for free shipping with Amazon Prime. This is certainly a splurge to buy coconut water, but it's worth it for the health benefits it offers vs. drinking Gatorade. Plus, it really is a good deal considering most coconut water products in the grocery stores run $1.69-$3.99 for one tetrapak serving. And heck, I am trying to give up diet coke, so I should have something else to look forward to besides just plain water! I think the coconut water is more energizing than diet coke anyway because I'm getting hydrated far better than I would with a diet coke, which can actually dehydrate you a bit.

The best part about this coconut water is that I don't have to go out to buy it! It just shows up on my porch in 1-2 days after I order it from Amazon!

Cheers, to the perfect summer refresher and the perfect post workout drink, Nature Factor Organic Young Coconut Water.
